Shabbat Shalom

We are gratified to host a NCSY Road Show this Shabbat and thank our Teen advisor Moshe Kaplan for his stellar leadership. We will be hosting minyanim on Shabbat morning at 7:00, 8:00, 9:00 am, a teen minyan at 10:00 am and a full array of youth groups. Seudah Shlishit will not be held at the shul this week but God willing will resume on a weekly basis in January. If you are interested in sponsoring it or a kiddush, please click here.

We are honored to be hosting a Chevra Kadisha Shabbat. Jason Levine, a chevra volunteer, will be speaking at all the Shabbat morning minyanim.

We are thankful to Yaakov and Yolly for leading an outstanding Parent Children learning last Saturday night and we will host our next one this Saturday night at 5:45 PM. We welcome NCSY advisors Racheli Gottesman and Ezra Ameson for the roadshow this Shabbat.

Thank God, our attendance at shul is growing every week. However, we pray for continued health and we must remain mindful and vigilant. We appreciate everyone adhering to the guidelines below. We will also be reserving the balcony section near the main staircase as a mask only section to create a more welcoming environment for all.

We are thrilled to officially announce a summer journey to Israel with Agudath Sholom. God willing, Israel will open up more fully in the season ahead. Any reservation now is fully refundable. If you have an interest, see the link below in the Events section.

We are blessed with many wonderful opportunities at Agudath Sholom and appreciate everyone coming together to make our shul and community such a special place. God willing we will share more good news in the weeks ahead.

Wishing you and your families a Shabbat Shalom,

Rabbi Daniel Cohen

Indoor Masking Update  In accordance with the policies of the City of Stamford, the following is now in effect at CAS:
  • Vaccinated adults are not required to wear masks while inside the building.
  • Unvaccinated adults are required to wear masks at all times while inside the building.
  • Children, group leaders and parents who go into groups must wear masks inside the building while in groups. Vaccinated teens may choose not to wear a mask.
  • During indoor kiddushim, unvaccinated children and adults should continue to wear masks unless they are eating.
  • The new city guidelines still encourage Stamford residents to take reasonable precautions to stay safe, in particular recommending that all eligible people get vaccinated. See StamfordCT.gov for details.

Parents: Please be mindful not to serve children food or drinks in the Sanctuary during davening and to ensure they do not enter the shul unsupervised following davening. Thank you in advance.
