Shabbat Shalom

I am thrilled to update you on the health center at the Isangha village in Tanzania, which now has full power thanks to the generosity of Len and Susan Mark to Innovation Africa in honor of CAS. The installation took place on a postnatal care day, where dozens of mothers and babies were excited to understand that if health services are needed at night, they will be provided under light from now on.

Isangha Health Center is comprised of three buildings. The main building includes the dispensary, delivery room and doctor rooms and all were lit by the end of the day. The staff homes on premises were also powered.

Click here to see photos and a brief video in honor of CAS. To learn more visit www.innoafrica.org Yasher Koach to Susan and Len for the vision and dedication to this impactful way to realize Israel's role as a light unto the world.

Shabbat Shalom

Rabbi Daniel Cohen

Welcome  new CAS members Rabbi Yossi and Chanie Kamman

Join the Rabbis this week at 613 Rabbi Cohen on Monday evening at 6:30 PM and Rabbi Zweiter on Thursday evening at 7:00 PM for siyumim (completion of tractates) at 613.

Dear Friend,

The Minnie Manger Marcia Lieberman Mikvah is proud to be available to the Jewish community of Stamford and the surrounding area. Our beautiful Mikvah provides a place for immersions for brides, conversions and family purity observance. Many people don't realize that the Mikvah is run largely by a team of volunteers in addition to a dedicated attendant and that the fee for immersion does not cover all of our operational and ongoing maintenance costs.

Donations from the community help us provide a place for these important mitzvot to take place! We would like to ask for your donation to the Mayim League to ensure we can continue to keep our Mikvah available to all.

Please note that while any amount is welcome, the Mayim League is an excellent way to pay for immersions for the year. Please click here or contact us for giving details.

Thank you very much for your support!
