Shabbat Shalom

Make your last day of the year your best! Join me at the Cove on Sunday morning for a sunrise service at 6:10 am. We will meet at Horseshoe Cove. I know it is early but it will be uplifting and invigorating and a special way to start the last day of the year.

Wishing you and your families Shana Tovah and Shabbat Shalom.

Rabbi Daniel Cohen

If you can be an usher for Yom Tov, please let us know.  There are open slots in all on all the days.

The Usher's responsibility greet people as they enter into the
sanctuary, answer any quetsions, and stand by the door to minimize interruptions at critical times of the davening so that people can focus on the Tefillah.  The doors should be kept closed during the Torah Reading, the Rabbi's sermon, Yizkor on Yom Kippur and the announcements.  Please RSVP to Elisheva Kilner at

We are grateful to Elisheva for chairing the Usher program this year.  Thank you in advance for your participation, and best wishes to you and your family for a K'tiva Chatima Tova.

We begin with 30 blasts and end with the final one at 12:45 PM. Please make every effort to fulfill this mitzvah in its entirety. If you cannot attend shul and would like someone to blow the shofar for you, please email or call Rabbi Cohen ( or 203-252-8252) by 12 pm Sunday and he will try to arrange for a private shofar
