Shabbat Shalom

This Shabbat is Shabbat Nachamu, a Shabbat of comfort when we begin reading a series of seven visions of consolation from the prophets culminating with the Shabbat before Rosh Hashanah. This Shabbat is also Tu B'Av, a day of hope, love and renewal. For more info, click here.

We look forward to a ruach filled Tefillah this Shabbat morning at 9 AM in the tent led by Omer Neumeier and his family in honor of his father's Yedidia's 70th birthday! Mazal Tov!

Thank you to Mitchell Bell and the Men's Club, in partnership with CAS Women and Young Families, for hosting a Celebration of Life BBQ this Sunday at 5:30 PM. Please join us and invite your friends! Sign up below by 4 PM today. Please note: There will be no parking in the CAS parking lot. Parking is available at the church across Strawberry Hill

Thank you to Navah Zizmor and Tamar Levine for organizing a very successful Tu B'Av flower arranging event this past Thursday. We also look forward to hosting Rav Boaz Mori, this Thursday evening at 7 PM at CAS for an in-person presentation on "Pomegranates, Grenades and the Segula of Eretz Yisrael".

Save the date of Sunday, August 29th at 5:30 PM for our Chanukat Habayit, dedication of our newly renovated shul. Look for more details in the weeks ahead.

If you are new to the area and would like to learn more about joining CAS, please reach out to me, Matt, our executive director, or Meg Haron, membership chair at meghanharon@gmail.com. We look forward to welcoming you to the CAS community.

We offer a full array of minyanim and youth groups this Shabbat. Youth groups begin at 10 AM.

Wishing you and your families a Shabbat Shalom and happy Tu B'Av,

Rabbi Daniel Cohen
