As the holidays arrive, please note the following important updates:
  1. Holiday Minyanim Sign Ups for Indoor and Outdoor Services are Open. The Sign Up link is below.
  2. Shanah Tovah Holiday Gift Bag Pick Up and Greetings - Sunday and Monday, September 13th and 14th - 4 PM - 6 PM. Be on the lookout for the sign up in the coming weeks.
  3. Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur Davening - We are grateful to all of the people who are going beyond their expertise and experience and volunteering to lead services, read Torah and blow the shofar in the multiple minyanim. This year's services will be streamlined but infused with kavanah and meaning.
  4. The Men's Mikvah will not be open for the holidays due to COVID concerns.
  5. Hatarat Nedarim will be available via Zoom with a Beth Din convened in the shul on Friday morning, September 18th at 8:15 AM.
  6. Join our Pre Holidays Classes beginning this week. See the listing below.

Exciting Youth High Holiday Announcement  We are excited to announce that we will be having youth groups over the High Holidays! Details about timing and location will be sent out shortly.

There will be a link sent out to sign up for a time slot. Sign up will be first come, first served and limited to ten kids at a time. All of the groups will have two time slots in order to accommodate everyone!

Social distancing will be maintained at all times and masks covering the nose and mouth are required to be worn by parents and children over 4 years old at all times. One parent per family will be required to attend with the child.

Virtual Yizkor Service CAS will offer a virtual pre Yom Kippur Yizkor service on Sunday, September 27th in addition to the one on Yom Kippur day. On every Yom Kippur, we recite and remember loved ones in our community who have passed away since the prior Yom Kippur.

During the virtual service, we will be showing a brief video montage "We Remember: Eternal Legacies" featuring photos and a sentence tribute to those who passed away within the past year. If you would like to honor your loved one, please send a photo and sentence or series of words to Elisheva Cohen at shevcohen4@gmail.com by Monday, September 7th. If you have any questions, please contact Rabbi Cohen.

  • HEALING VISITS UPDATE: Every week, we include a note about our healing visits group.   • CAS FREE MEZUZAH CAMPAIGN IN FAIRFIELD COUNTY, CT Bringing Blessings to Jewish Homes. Do you know a neighbor or a friend who lacks a mezuzah?
