As we gear up for Pesach, join me this Shabbat afternoon at 6:20 PM for Shabbat Hagadol Drasha on the theme: Back to the Basics - Emulating God's Redemption.

To give Maot Chitim, click here. We are working with Schoke Jewish Family Service to provide food and emergency assistance. Tzedakah can be donated online to our CAS Passover Fund. Agudath Sholom is leading the way in partnership with our UJF and the Jewish Agency in sponsoring two planes for Ukrainian Jewish refugees to make aliyah. Click here to partner with us on this important and historic mitzvah.

Indoor Masking Update  In accordance with the policies of the City of Stamford, the following is now in effect at CAS:
  • Masks are optional in the CAS building, regardless of age or vaccination status.
  • While not required, we recommend those who are unvaccinated continue to wear a mask.
  • The first section of the Men's and Women's Balconies are reserved for Masks Only.

Parents: Please be mindful not to serve children food or drinks in the Sanctuary during davening and to ensure they do not enter the shul unsupervised following davening. Thank you in advance.

Hand in Hand provides children grades Pre-K - 8 the opportunity to participate in a typical summer camp environment in a supportive setting. As COVID-19 continues to put a financial strain on families, Schoke Jewish Family Service understands that many households have limited funds to send their children to Jewish summer camp.   • SURVEY OPPORTUNITY Will you help us advance a national research study on American Jewish political preferences? Ohad Klopman, a 4th-year student at Columbia University and the Jewish Theological Seminary is conducting a research study on Jewish political preferences in the US. The goal of the study is to learn how Jewish Americans think about politics and voting. In this study, you take the role of a voter and have to choose between hypothetical political candidates. The study takes 10 minutes and is completely anonymous and confidential. Please help Ohad succeed in his research by participating! Schoke Jewish Family Service will hold its annual gala, An Evening with Schoke JFS, Sunday, May 22nd at 5:30 pm al fresco at the Italian Center of Stamford, 1620 Newfield Avenue, in an outdoor tented pavilion. The Jewish Sportsmen's League (Bruce Blasnik, Gary Bloom, Henry Bubel, David S. Cohen z"l, Marty Donner, Bob Dorf, Paul Gordon, Ed Kweskin, David Lewis, Carl Rosen, Paul Sabbah, David Swerdloff) will be the recipients of the 42nd Annual Mitzvah Award, and Stacy Kamisar, Julia Marx, and Sheri Warshaw will receive the 3rd Annual Volunteer of the Year Award honoring their dedication to the community. The evening's events will be hosted by the Mayor of Stamford, Caroline Simmons. The event will be co-chaired by Liz Kitay and Meryl Japha with Jeri Appel as auction chair.
