Shabbat Shalom

I hope you and your families enjoyed a meaningful holiday season.

We will offer a full array of minyanim this Shabbat at 7, 8 and 9 AM (Ashkenazic and Sephardic) and youth programming. Bob's Basics with Bob Abrams at 10 AM will now be a weekly opportunity to learn more about the structure and meaning of the prayers.

Join us on Sunday morning for our Torah Parade Celebration and Dedication.

We will launch the parade from my home - 15 Revonah Circle - at 11:00 AM and arrive at the shul for community letter writing. It is a unique opportunity to fulfill the last mitzvah in the Torah. God willing, we will complete the Torah in a moving celebration at 12:30 PM which will be followed by light refreshments. All ages are welcome and open to the entire community. We are deeply grateful to Debbie and Jimmy Lustig for dedicating the Torah in honor of their granddaughter Sienna's Bat Mitzvah and donating it to Agudath Sholom.

Thank you to all of our volunteers who gave of their time to make the season so memorable. Thank you to all of our Kol Nidre appeal donors! If you haven't done so already, please join them.

As we swing into the fall, we are excited to offer a full array of adult education classes which will begin next week and the week of October 23rd. Click here to learn more. Please also reserve the dates for numerous guest scholars during the Fall.

Registration is now open for Pre B'nai Mitzvah Matan and Man Up classes for 6th grade girls and 7th grade boys starting Sunday, December 4th. See the website for more info.

Wishing you and your families a Shabbat Shalom and wonderful start of the new year,

Rabbi Daniel Cohen
