Shabbat Announcements

MAZAL TOV TO:
....Michelle & David Tavdi on the baby naming of Isabella Juliette Tavdi.
....Beverly Stein for being awarded the Nitzan Nursery School Early Childhood Education Award from the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.

SHABBAT SHOLOM HOSPITAL PACKAGES ARE SPONSORED BY: the Linda Beson Nursing Education Fund.

AROUND THE SHABBAT TABLE: The Shabbat meal is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our families, community and connection to G-d. The Around the Shabbat Table Campaign encourages each family to include three elements at their meal:

1) Share the Torah Insight

2) Sing a Jewish Song

3) Refrain from Gossip-Celelebrate Positive Speech

Suggested Torah topic for your Shabbat table:

The Talmud states: A person should always punish with his left hand & caress with his right hand (Sanhedrin 107b). The intention being that since one's right hand is usually stronger than the left hand, one's support & encouragement of the child should always exceed one's disciplining. Have you ever seen examples of discipline & encouragement occurring together?

IMPORTANT MIKVAH UPDATE: Construction has begun on the new CAS Mikvah! Ron Avidan and his team started excavation of the site and will be pouring the foundation in the coming weeks. Throughout the course of the Mikvah construction, we ask that you exercise extreme caution surrounding the construction zone. It is imperative that no one enters the site except for women who are using the current Mikvah. We are eager to maintain a safe environment for the entire CAS community. Thank you.
