In Tribute to Rabbi Walk
It has been an honor and privilege to work with Rabbi Walk over the past twelve years at Agudath Sholom. He is a master teacher who engaged young and old alike. Whether through his very popular Sunday morning and Tuesday evening series or the myriad of other programs, classes and counsel, he returned to America to make a difference in people's spiritual lives and we can emphatically say that he truly has impacted thousands of people.
He exudes a joy for learning and coupled with his love of history, menschlechkeit, humor and smile, has elevated our shul, BCDS and our community. He always went the extra mile to be a true partner and I will miss his friendship. We will miss the hot dogs in the cholent, the movies nights, Perek on the Patio, his Torah on Tisha B'Av, his passion for Israel, sense of humor, love of Boston and so much more.
May Hashem bless Rabbi Walk and Rivka on their journey back to Israel and, God willing, his impact will continue to resonate here and in Israel in good health for many years to come. May you go in peace and come in peace.
With friendship and deep gratitude on behalf of me, Diane, our family and community,
Rabbi Daniel Cohen

Message from the Stamford UJF Jewish Community Relations Council
You may recall that Yoon Chul Shin was arrested at the Maccabi games here in Stamford last summer. He has been released from prison but is not allowed to be in Stamford unless he is going to the court or the police department and is not under any circumstances allowed on the property of Jewish institutions anywhere in the country. He is also not permitted to stay or reside in the State of Connecticut. There is no reason to assume he will violate the terms of his release, but if you see Mr. Shin or his distinctive car, please contact the Stamford police.
