Dear friends and congregants,

On behalf of my daughters and myself, I would like to thank the entire community for helping our family and especially my wife during the difficult parts of the past 8 years with your prayers, words of encouragement, smiles and other actions.  We especially appreciate those of you who participated in the MMRF (Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation) walks and your donations to that organization We are so grateful to all of you who prepared food for us on the Shabbatot that Janet wasn't well and to those who helped during the days of shiva by visiting, preparing food, attending services, reciting mishnayos or making donations in her memory and  by comforting us in so many ways.  I hope that my wife Janet forgives me for not writing each and every one of you a separate thank you note (she always     expected me to do so!) .  It is our prayer that Hashem should guide the doctors and researchers with the strength and insight to eliminate these dreadful diseases completely.  May Hashem send a Refuah Shlema to all Cholei Yisrael.
