| | | Do you carry the Torah or does the Torah carry you? Is your relationship to Torah a kiss or embrace? As I shared last Shabbat, each of us, regardless of our background or age, must find our personal connection to Torah study. But it is not enough to touch our faith artificially, but to hug with devotion. As we enter Shabbat following Shavuot, make a pledge to learn Torah. It is our life and, as we proclaimed when growing up in Atlanta, the Torah is "the real thing" and "the pause that refreshes." If you would like me to develop a personalized Torah study plan for you, please be in touch. Wishing you and your families a Shabbat Shalom, Rabbi Daniel Cohen |
