SHAUL GOLDSTEIN-MAYOR GUSH ETZION REGIONAL COUNCIL.  HE WILL SHARE  THE INSPIRING STORY OF THE REBIRTH OF THE JEWISH COMMUNITIES AFTER 1967 & THE RETURN OF THE CHILDREN OF THE ORIGINAL FOUNDERS TO RE-ESTABLISH JEWISH LIFE IN THE GUSH.

CAS is presenting a B'nai Mitzvah Information Session for

upcoming Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. (2011-2012)

Learn about planning a Bar/Bat Mitzvah at Congregation Agudath Sholom and the programs available to the B'nai Mitzvah. Tastings from various caterers at 7:30 PM with the presentations beginning at 8:00 PM. Please bring your Bar/Bat Mitzvah children with you!

· CANTOR'S ANNUAL CONCERT-Tues, Nov. 16th 7:30 p.m.

        Cantor Wollheim hosts Zalmen Mlotek & friends who will

        perform 100 Years of Yiddush Theater Music from Shtetl

        to Klezmer Revival.  Cost $20 seniors & students,

        $25 general admission. RSVP on-line

· COLLEGE STUDENT'S THANKGIVING WEEKEND-Nov. 26th & 27th  Rabbi Eli Kohl and his wife Naomi will be guests at CAS  on Shabbat weekend of Thanksgiving, November 26-27. They are the JLIC couple on campus at the University oFMaryland. On Friday night at 7:30PM, there will be an oneg for high school juniors and seniors at Elise and Steve Cohen's home, (5 Boxwood Dr) where Rabbi Kohl will speak about the challenges college students face Jewishly oN  campus. Concurrently, there will be an oneg at the home of Gideon and Miriam Pell, (61 Holbrook Dr) for parents of high school juniors and seniors, and Rabbi Kohl and his wife will make an appearance there and speak about What Parents MUST Know About Jewish Life on Campus BeforeSending their Kids to College. There will also be a college reunion kiddush on Shabbos morning for the collegiate, many of whom will be home for the weekend. Finally, Rabbi Kohl will speak to the entire community on Shabbos afternoon at Seudat Shlishit , and conclude with a musical havdala program after Shabbat is over.  Please join us for what promises to be a wonderful weekend! Kiddush catered by Genadeen!

Ron and I have been  members of CAS for over 30 years. When we first moved to Stamford, we

remember fondly the warm Shabbat meal Invitations we received for 2 months straight!! It is with this memory in mind,  I invite your participation in a new outreach initiative...

I am currently on the board of CAS and working on a program called Shabbat Sholom. The program's goal is to create warm connections with new members around a Shabbat table. · BI-CULTURAL ISRAEL TOUR-BCDS is offering tours to Israel in Feb. One group will leave Sat, Feb 12th and return Feb 25th.  For those who cannot be away the entire period, another group will leave Feb 16th and join the others in Jerusalem.  Many new sites are planned so repeat participants will enjoy new experiences.  For more info contact Bob Abrams or Mr. S.  at the school 203 329-2186

  Hey kidsGrab a bag instead of a box and fill it up with
