Around the Shabbat Table Campaign

Elevating the People and the World Around You!

The Shabbat meal is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our families, community and  connection to  G-d.  The Around the Shabbat Table Campaign encourages each family to include three elements at their meal:

 1. Share a Torah Insight   2. Sing a Jewish Song

3. Refrain from Gossip-Celebrate Positive Speech

Suggested Torah topic for your Shabbat table: With which of these three approaches-learning for its own sake, learning to bond with G-d, or learning to affect one's actions-do you most agree?  What argument could you make for the other two points?

IN HONOR OF NORTH AMERICAN INCLUSION MONTH.  WE WILL BE USING OUR NEW RAMP IN THE MAIN SANCTUARY TO FACILITATE GREATER ACCESSIBILITY TO RECEIVE ALIYOT.

Dear Congregants,

Our weekly Kiddush offers us the opportunity to come together as a community.  We can socialize, catch up with friends, and relax together.  These kiddushim are an integral part of our Shabbat morning.  In the interest of maintaining and elevating this time together, we are in need of more sponsors of the weekly Kiddush. Over the next few months, you may be receiving a call as you approach a family birthday or anniversary, asking you to take part in sponsoring the weekly Kiddush.   While the standard Kiddush costs $350 we are interested in making this honor more available to the entire congregation. For $50, you can co-sponsor the Kiddush alongside others with birthdays or anniversaries at the same time.  If you are able, please contact the shul office and consider Kiddush sponsorship as a way to continue to support our shul.

Sincerely,   The Board of Directors
