Making Mitzvah Moments Opportunity - The Dallas Jewish Community
Please consider assisting the Shaarei Tefillah community in Dallas which I received this from a colleague and friend Rabbi Ariel Rackovsky:
As you know, Dallas- as well as the rest of the state- has suffered tremendously as a result of the spate of cold weather. People have been without power for days, food is in short or non-existent supply and many have suffered significant water damage due to burst pipes. Chaveirim of Dallas has been working tirelessly to help with cleanup, and is working together with organizations in the Northeast to bring plumbers to help the Jewish community with repairs. The costs of such a project are significant (about $10K a day for 10 trucks), but the rewards for saving the finances and property of a fellow Jew are as well. If you can contribute at all, please do so through his charitable fund- thank you in advance!
https://www.shaaretefilla.org/form/charitable-fund-donation-form2.html

Making Mitzvah Moments Opportunity Agudath Sholom and MMM are excited to partner with UJF of Stamford, New Canaan and Darien to support Dignity Grows - https://dignitygrows.org/our-story/. The mission of Dignity Grows is to provide monthly personal and menstrual hygiene products to women and men who cannot afford them. We are sponsoring and packing 100 packages to be distributed in March locally to the Pacific House Shelter and https://www.pacifichouse.org/ and DVCC. https://www.dvccct.org/. For more information, contact Rabbi Cohen or project chair, Marilyn Altman (marilynaltman55@gmail.com). Each package sponsorship is $18. To contribute, donate to the CAS Charity Fund and note "Dignity Grows" in the purpose field. https://sites.google.com/a/cas-stamford.org/donate/.

Making Mitzvah Moments Opportunity
As you may be aware, the United Kingdom is entering a renewed lockdown. One significant concern is that those who are saying kaddish for loved ones will not have access to a minyan during this period of lockdown.
In the spirit of Kol Yisrael Arevim Zeh Bazeh, we are partnering with our British brothers and sisters to support their community. A website has been established at theus.org.uk/kaddishvolunteers to allow those with access to a minyan to recite Kaddish for those who do not.

Keilim Mikvah Updated Hours  The Keilim Mikvah is now open for keilim drop-off only. Before dropping off any keilim, please read the new protocol - click here. Thank you to Audrey Wagshul for her coordination and leadership. If you have any questions, please reach out to Audrey at audreybcohen@hotmail.com, Rabbi Cohen or Rabbi Kurtz.
