We hope you and your families are well! This coming week, we have a special opportunity to launch a season of gratitude and giving. This Sunday is our Drive By Food collection for Schoke JFS. Thank you to Stephanie Bilneker and Liatte Lasher for chairing. Join us on Thanksgiving morning as we express our gratitude to our first responders. Thank you for Mitchell Bell and a host of volunteers for providing a Thanksgiving meal to Stamford EMS. Information about all of the opportunities appears in the bulletin. As we approach Chanukah, let's find new ways every day to light up our community! You may receive updates for timely mitzvah moments by joining our growing whats app group. This Sunday morning, we are honored to host Rabbi Dr. Moshe Tendler for a Zoom presentation. He is one of the great teachers and scholars of our generation. We look forward to resuming our New England Rabbis Torah program this Monday evening as well. This Shabbat, join us in the chapel minyan at 9 AM and hear a Dvar Torah from our Yoetzet Halacha, Dena Block. The 9 AM tent minyan will not be available this Shabbat. Join us Wednesday, November 25 from 10:30-11:15am on zoom for a Thanksgiving drawing class with Andrew Galitzer, creator of Parsha Comics! Andrew will teach your children how to draw things related to Thanksgiving in an interactive session. At the end each child will be able to show off their creation! This program is geared to children ages 6-12.

- PAY IT FORWARD! As our community grows it takes even more effort to insure the warmth of our shul. You may not realize but we have a Hospitality Team who are informed of new families who moved into community. Team members are expected to invite new families to any of the following: shabbat meal, BBQ, brunch, even coffee, a get-together in the park, or a community-wide function. - HEALING VISITS UPDATE: Every week, we include a note about our healing visits group. As a reminder, the group consists of volunteers who give of their time to call, email or visit people in our community who are in the hospital or in recuperation. - CAS FREE MEZUZAH CAMPAIGN IN FAIRFIELD COUNTY, CT Bringing Blessings to Jewish Homes. Do you know a neighbor or a friend who lacks a mezuzah? - COMMUNITY CHESED HELPERS An important role of the Chesed committee is outreach to the Shul's elderly and homebound, who are often isolated and lack a lifeline to our synagogue.
