Shabbat Shalom

Last Shabbat, I spoke about the growing BDS movement and the challenges facing Israel. The battle for world opinion is not only tough but it is our responsibility to wage. Israel can only serve as a light unto the nations when she is understood and admired. We are all soldiers in this battle - men, women and children. We are blessed to live in a country where we can speak freely and we can educate, motivate and advocate on behalf of Israel. No one can stand silent. Each one of us is on the front lines: at work, at play or in our community. In the weeks ahead, we will be hosting an Israel advocacy seminar for youth and adults.

Take a moment to click this link to take the quiz I shared on Shabbat.

Join the Agudath Sholom AIPAC 100 Club. I set a goal of sending 100 of our members to Policy Conference in March, 2015. We have grown from six to 60 delegates. Let's make it 100. For information, visit and/or contact me.

The Parsha of Behar reminds us that Israel is not only our past but our future and serves as the anchor to enlighten the world. We need YOU. Israel needs YOU. For 2,000 years, Jews all over the world dreamed of returning to our homeland. We are blessed to witness the fulfillment of a dream. Let us insure her promise forever.

Wishing you and your families a Shabbat Shalom,
Rabbi Daniel Cohen
