Welcome to Rabbi Joe and Sandy Ehrenkranz who are spending Shabbat in Stamford. Yasher Koach to Rabbi Joe, Herm Alswanger, Lorriane Kweskin and all who shared CAS Stories a few weeks ago on a most memorable night. G-d willing, DVD's of the event will be available in the months ahead. We also wish our CAS students studying in Israel this year much success in Torah and personal growth as they embark on a transformative year in their lives. Special Rosh Hashanah Service 
Due to last year's warm reception of the Rosh Hashanah Sunrise Service, we are pleased to announce its return this year.  The Sunrise Service will be held at 6am both days of Rosh Hashana.  All are welcomed.  No tickets are required.  So that we can gauge attendance, kindly email Elliot Neumann( if you plan to attend.

What better time to do a mitzvah than right before the high holidays?  There will be a food drive beginning on September 9th through September 27th together with Person-to-Person, a volunteer-driven, community-supported agency.  They help individuals and families who lack the basic necessities or resources to improve their lives.  Bags with a grocery list of needed items will be available to pick up in the Agudath Shalom lobby. Please stop by, pick up a bag, and go  shopping to help fill the shul's emergency food pantry.
  • Beginning September 9-September 26 , grocery bags will be available in the shul lobby, with an attached shopping list. Please take as many as you can and fill them; return them to the shul lobby, where they will be collected.  
  • Pick up is-Thursday September 27.

Explore why social media sites can be instrumental or harmful in finding and landing that perfect job, with Erik Karff. Couples preparing for marriage can join a premarital support group to cover topics like communication, financial conflicts and child rearing. HERBERT & SARAH GIBOR READING PARTNERS PROGRAM is a group of dedicated volunteer tutors, sponsored by the UJF and is an affiliate of the National Jewish Coalition for Literacy. Reading Partners volunteer for one hour each week reading one-on-one with students. Each tutor is assigned two students and spends a half-hour with each talking, reading or writing.
