Join us for a Ruach filled Kabbalat Shabbat this Friday night in honor of Shabbat Mevarchim Chodesh Nisan. We are excited to welcome NCSY advisors Ezra Emerson, Yonah Shneier, Meira Steiner, and Racheli Gottesman who are joining Moshe and Yaakov this Shabbat for a Road Show. Special welcome to Moshe's fiance, Rosie Maimon. As we prepare for the upcoming holiday, we are excited to launch our annual Pesach Website. Agudath Sholom is committed to helping you get ready for the holiday. This site will provide you with answers to many of the questions we have every year before Pesach. We are working with Schoke Jewish Family Service to provide food and emergency assistance. Tzedakah can be donated online to our CAS Passover Fund. Our Summer Israel trip is filling up. We will be hosting a Zoom Information session on Sunday, April 3rd at 10:30 AM. We will also be hosting a pilot program with The Tikvah Fund for public school 6th, 7th and 8th graders this spring. We will host a Zoom information session on Sunday, April 3rd at 10:00 AM. Indoor Masking Update In accordance with the policies of the City of Stamford, the following is now in effect at CAS:- Masks are optional in the CAS building, regardless of age or vaccination status.
- While not required, we recommend those who are unvaccinated continue to wear a mask.
- The first section of the Men's and Women's Balconies are reserved for Masks Only.

Stand With Israel In Connecticut Featuring Natalie Shclover And Avi Posnick
Thursday, April 7 - 7:30 PM
Hear Natalie Shclover, a local resident and a student at the University of Connecticut, share her Standing for Israel story. She experienced a campaign of harassment and vilification after standing up for Israel, including being thrown out of her acapella group with no due process. You will also hear about the role StandWithUs' educators and legal team played to help Natalie and tools everyone can use to support students on campus and local communities support Israel and fight antisemitism. - SUMMER JOBS AVAILABLE AT THE J The Stamford JCC Inclusion Department is currently recruiting senior high school and college students for summer job employment in our Hand in Hand program. Hand in Hand provides children grades Pre-K - 8 the opportunity to participate in a typical summer camp environment in a supportive setting. We work with children of all abilities to reach their fullest potential, both developmentally and interpersonally. We are looking for students who have had experience working or volunteering with children who have special needs and who genuinely enjoy working with diverse children in a recreational setting. - APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR THE JOAN AND BEN ZINBARG - SCHOKE JEWISH FAMILY SERVICE CAMP SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM Deadline for applications is Friday, April 15, 2022. As COVID-19 continues to put a financial strain on families, Schoke Jewish Family Service understands that many households have limited funds to send their children to Jewish summer camp. Schoke JFS is excited to announce that applications for camp scholarships for summer 2022 are now available at www.ctjfs.org/joan-and-ben-zinbarg-camp-scholarship-program/. - SURVEY OPPORTUNITY Will you help us advance a national research study on American Jewish political preferences? Ohad Klopman, a 4th-year student at Columbia University and the Jewish Theological Seminary is conducting a research study on Jewish political preferences in the US. The goal of the study is to learn how Jewish Americans think about politics and voting. In this study, you take the role of a voter and have to choose between hypothetical political candidates. The study takes 10 minutes and is completely anonymous and confidential. Please help Ohad succeed in his research by participating!
