We bless the new month of Adar this Shabbat and also begin the first of the Four Special Shabbatot prior to Pesach. Join us on Friday night for a ruach filled Kabbalat Shabbat in honor of Shabbat Mevarchim and Adar. Rosh Chodesh this coming week will be on Thursday and Friday. We will host a Giveaway Hamantashen event next Friday, March 4th in partnership with Beldottis between 12 PM and 1 PM at the bakery. Mazal Tov to Rabbi Kurtz and all of the participants in the siyum on the Torah this coming Sunday. Join us on Sunday at noon for a Zoom learning session with Simi Peters on Purim LeDorot: Why is Purim Forever? This Shabbat morning and afternoon we are highlighting the importance of the Eruv in our community and expressing our gratitude to the Eruv Volunteers. We thank the eruv checkers and look forward to hearing from Elie Neidober at all of the Shabbat morning minyanim and Rabbi Kurtz between mincha and maariv. Please take a moment to support two important Purim fundraisers: The Mikvah is promoting Purim Cards and Delivery (for more, info contact Nicole Makovsky at nicole@stamfordmikvah.org) and the Youth Mishloach Manot fundraiser - sign up below. Of course, please take a moment to contribute to the Purim Charity Fund to fulfill the mitzvah of Matanot L'evyonim. As we enter Shabbat, please offer a prayer for the Ukrainians and peace in the region. You may contribute here via UJF. May God watch over them in the days ahead and may we share good news soon. Indoor Masking Update In accordance with the policies of the City of Stamford, the following is now in effect at CAS:- Masks are optional in the CAS building, regardless of age or vaccination status.
- While not required, we recommend those who are unvaccinated continue to wear a mask.
- The first section of the Men's and Women's Balconies are reserved for Masks Only.

Parents: Please be mindful not to serve children food or drinks in the Sanctuary during davening and to ensure they do not enter the shul unsupervised following davening. Thank you in advance. |
