Shabbat Shalom
We hope you and your families are well and enjoyed an uplifting Thanksgiving weekend and are looking forward to a joyous Chanukah.

We recognize this year will be different but, God willing, it will be one filled with new light and meaning. We will be hosting virtual Chanukah lightings on each night beginning this Thursday evening. We are also hosting numerous events including a Family Chanukah Event and Young Families event on Saturday night of Chanukah, Puppet Show on Sunday and Virtual Senior Tea and Chanukah Celebration on Monday. All details are in the bulletin and on the website.

Chanukah is also about spreading the light. We are organizing Chanukah Care Package Deliveries in partnership with Schoke JFS and hosting a Drive By Food Drive to support the Lower Fairfield County Food Bank. You may receive updates for timely mitzvah moments by joining our growing Whats App group.

Join us this Sunday morning our pre Chanukah Yom Iyun with Rabbi Shalom Rosner and Rabbi Ezra Schwartz and Monday evening for our Pre Chanukah Torah with Rabbi Tuvia Brander of the Young Israel of West Hartford.

Especially in the virtual world, it is even more important to stay connected. To get real time updates visit our CAS FB Page at https://www.facebook.com/cas.stamford and our Young Families page https://www.facebook.com/casyoungfamilies. We are excited this week to launch our Agudath Sholom on Instagram. Join here and invite your friends!

This Shabbat, join us for one of the two Shabbat morning minyanim at 7 AM and 9 AM in the chapel. There are no outdoor minyanim this Shabbat. We are blessed to hear a Dvar Torah at the 9 AM minyan from Rabbi Shimmy Trencher, principal of the BCHA Upper School. Due to forecasted inclement weather, youth groups will be moved indoors into the chapel this shabbat. Mini Minyan/Tot Shabbat will run from 11:00-11:30. Junior Congregation will run from 11:40-12:10. Bnai Mitzvah Club will run from 3:30-4:00pm.

Thank you for your partnership and wishing you and your family a Shabbat Shalom and Happy Chanukah,

Rabbi Daniel Cohen
