Congregation Agudath Sholom Shabbat Bulletin Update Reeh Rosh Chodesh Elul September 3, 2016 30 Av 5776 send your submission to bulletin@cas-stamford.org Heaven meets earth in Jerusalem. Throughout our history, we have been enjoined to make a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. In this week's Torah portion of Reeh, Moshe commands our nation to ascend to the city three times a year for reunion and renewal. As Isaiah wrote, "From Zion shall go forth the Torah and the word of God from Jerusalem." In this spirit, we are proud of our students who are devoting a year to living and learning Torah in Israel. We wish a wonderful year of growth to the following students and best wishes to their families: Daniel Alexander, Aviva Attar, Jacob Cohen, Elisheva Cohen, Hannah Davidson, Carly Jankelovits, Matt Jelen, Eliana Koehler, Remy and Tany Neuhaus, Jessica Schwartz, Alex Seligson, Jonah Smart, Charlie Thau and Nicole Wohlberg.  We pray they go in peace and come back in peace. We look forward to seeing them on our Men's Adult Learning Trip in December. It is not too late to join.
