Soleveitchik Machzor on Rosh HaShana and Yom Kippur. Currently, Rabbi Taubes is the Rabbi of Congregation Zichron Mordechai in Teaneck, and is the principal at Yeshiva University's High School for Boys
Daf Yomi Shabbat Celebration - This Shabbat To celebrate the completion of the world wide seven year cycle of studying the Talmud, join a panel of our Daf Yomi participants following Shabbat services at 11 am. Panelists include: Rabbi Dr. Jeff Cahn, Jeff Lewis, Judy Raymond and Simeon Wohlberg. Hear inspiring stories and learn why men and women take time from the hectic pace of life for this transformative experience. See why you do not have to be a Torah scholar to join the next cycle! TWO COMMON MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT DAF YOMI: - Daf yomi shiurim are only open to men. CAS shiurim are open to all and are well attended by women.
- Learning daily Gemorah is tedious and perhaps even boring! Quite the contrary, Daf Yomi opens up an exciting perspective into learning our oral tradition, including history, homiletic teachings, and the basis for all our halacha.
