LET US KNOW! We strive at CAS to support our members in time of need. If you know of someone who is ill, please reach out to Rabbi Cohen via email rabbicohen@cas-stamford.org or phone, alerting our clergy and Chesed committee to offer comfort and assistance. Together, we can insure CAS's role as a community of caring. Thank you very much! THIS SHABBAT, Chana Gilman will be speaking June 9th at 5 PM at the home of Sandy Weiner, 91 Apple Tree Drive, Stamford, CT (right behind the shul). She'll be speaking about: 13 Paradigms Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life! Learn how to find the 'Map' in your thinking and why it matters.
A bit about Chana: Chana Gilman was National Sales Director of Anne Klein II, directing an $80 million business, when she made a dramatic career change. She took a year sabbatical in Israel, resulting in her becoming executive director of Neveh Yerushalayim in America. Chana eventually settled with her family in Jerusalem, where she lived for 18 years. She became a sought after motivational speaker, and has recently moved back to America to spend time with her extended family. Chana's story is compelling and inspiring. It has strengthened Jewish women of all ages since Chana began speaking at the request of women's organizations and educational institutions a number of years ago. Chanapersonally invites you to join her as we journey together to bring forward our tremendous potential as Jewish women. CAS DECORUM The policy for our kids is easy - "In shul or in groups." Please help us maintain decorum. Make sure you child is either sitting in synagogue or participating in our Youth Groups. Make sure that your child enjoys Kiddush in the Simcha Room or Social Hall.
