| I hope you and your families are having a wonderful Pesach. Please note a few important reminders for the last days of the holiday: - On Thursday, please remember to make an Eruv Tavshillin in order topermit cooking on Friday for Shabbat. On Yom Tov, we are not permitted to ignite a flame, but we are allowed to use a preexisting flame for cooking and transferring to the candles for Friday night. Click here!
- We recite Yizkor and read Songs of Songs on Shabbat, the eighth day of Pesach. It is also customary to contribute Tzedaka in memory of a loved one for Yizkor. To make a contribution to CAS, click here
- Following Pesach, one may not benefit from food owned by a Jew on Pesach. All Vaad certified stores (click here for VAADCT) sold their chametz for the holiday. Please note that you are permitted to purchase chametz from Fairway, Stop & Shop, Shop Rite, Trader Joe's and Costco immediately after Pesach. For any questions, please be in touch.
