SHABBAT SHOLOM HOSPITAL PACKAGES ARE SPONSORED BY: the Linda Beson Nursing Education Fund.

AROUND THE SHABBAT TABLE: The Shabbat meal is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our families, community and connection to G-d. The Around the Shabbat Table Campaign encourages each family to include three elements at their meal:

1) Share the Torah Insight

2) Sing a Jewish Song

3) Refrain from Gossip-Celelebrate Positive Speech

Suggested Torah topic for your Shabbat table:

It is written that "Stolen waters are sweet..." This is understood to mean that as something becomes forbidden, it actually increases in allure. Does this contradict the approach of the Ibn Ezra-that if one knows that something is absolutely prohibited, one will not desire it? Which idea resonates more profoundly for you?

IMPORTANT MIKVAH UPDATE:
It is with great excitement and gratitude to G-d that we announce that the construction of the new Mikvah will be starting this week. We have chosen Avidan Construction Management, LLC as our contractor and within the next few days they will be breaking ground for our new building. Ron Avidan and his team have experience in both
commercial and residential construction. In addition, Ron brings a personal commitment to our project and the community and we are delighted to have him as our builder. Preparation of the site has
already begun, and we look forward to keeping you updated on the progress of the construction.
