Dancing Through Tears as One Community We will remember and rejoice this holiday. Agudath Sholom is joining hundreds of communities worldwide in the Simchat Torah project. We have a new Torah mantle designed to mark the first Yahrzeit which we will use during Yizkor on Shemini Atzeret. We rejoice. With tears in our eyes, we will dance. Men, women and children will all have an opportunity to dance with the Torah adorned by the Mantel. Hold it tight. Every single soul is a Torah. Our mantle is dedicated to the memory of Ephraim Jackman, son of Rabbi Ephraim and Liat Yachman. Each Hakafah dance circuit on Thursday night and Friday morning will be launched with a prayer and dedicated to themes of comfort, unity, strength, faith, heroism, the eternity of Israel and redemption. We will honor the families of recent and current IDF soldiers on Simchat Torah. Shmueli Goldis - Chatan Kol Hanearim, Dan Haron - Chatan Torah, Mark Links - Chatan Bereishit, Phil Steinmetz - Chatan Gelilah and Anat Chavkin - Keter Torah Award. We are also honored for Bob Abrams to be the Chatan Maftir this year. This is the year to be together. Be Counted. Join us to remember and rejoice. God willing, in the merit of our unity, prayers, joy and simcha we will witness open miracles in Israel in the days ahead and a full redemption speedily in our days. Wishing you and your families a Chag Sameach! Rabbi Daniel Cohen |

- Shabbat Greeter Program We are looking to restart our Shabbat greeter program. We will have two greeters each week - 9:45 AM - 10:30 AM in the lobby and 10:30 AM - 11:15 AM at the Sanctuary entrance. The lobby greeter will focus on greeting people as they enter the building and assisting anyone who needs help. For instance, location of groups, the Sanctuary, the Coat Room, etc. The Sanctuary greeter will focus on controlling the traffic in and out. For instance, the greeter does not allow traffic in and out during Kedushah and the Rabbi's Sermon. Please take a look and sign up for a slot over the coming weeks. For more info, contact Mitchell Bell (wizdrbel@yahoo.com), greeter chair - Greeter Sign Up
