Here's some feedback on the "Eight Flames" daily readings:

"The Eight Flames was truly inspirational.  It sparked the feeling that the flames of the Menorah could ignite the potential within all of us for warmth & unity in our homes, friendships & in our communities"  Barbara Ashkenas

"The Eight Flames emails over Chanukah were wonderful gifts from Rabbi Cohen.  Each edition was thought provoking & inspiring. Our lives are always busy & can often take us in many directions.  Reading these emails enable us to pause & reflect in order to further appreciate & reconnect to our Jewish heritage"

IMPORTANT MESSAGE REGARDING SWEET ON YOU FROM THE JCC

We are very sorry to report that The Sweet-on-You Café at the JCC will be closing at the end of this week. We recognize that having coffee, food and/or other kosher snacks available for purchase at the JCC is a convenience our members and other JCC patrons have rightly come to expect.  We have assembled a task force of board members & staff to evaluate suitable kosher food service alternatives.  As a temporary measure, beginning with the New Year, we expect to have bagels and other like snacks available for purchase during peak hours.  In this way, we hope the inconvenience caused by the departure of Sweet on You is kept to a minimum.

In order to take into consideration JCC member expectations and preferences regarding our food services, we have compiled a brief survey. Your input to the process would be most welcome. Just click on the link below and follow the simple directions. It only takes a couple of minutes to complete the survey.

We appreciate your patience under these circumstances.  As always, if you have any questions, concerns or other viewpoints, please let us know.

Sincerely,

Brian S. Kriftcher

President, JCC Board of Directors
